Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Job Purpose:* Develop and/or modify production plans and implement them.Main duties and responsibilities:* Analyze demand and forecasting of production.* Develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met* Establish mid- & long-term production plan reflecting production capacity and constraints.* Monitor and control progress of production.* Inform other Units of any changes in production plans and update documents accordingly.* Prepare status and performance reports and resolve production issues.* Regularly communicate with other production Units for the sake of information sharing.* Meet all other requirements as assigned.Qualifications & Preferences:Minimum:* Bachelor's degree required.* Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.* Minimum 2 years of experience.Preferred:* Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering major preferred.* Advanced degree in a related field preferred.* Experience from Automotive industry strongly preferred.* Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Competency Based: * Working with a team, planning, organizing, problem solving, communication, flexibility, concern for quality (minimize job performance errors, quick revision/correction), and monitoring and feedback (provide immediate feedback with alternative options as necessary).Travel Requirement:* Domestic/International travel required.Compensation & Benefits:* Employer offers opportunities for growth, work flexibility, and competitive pay and benefits.* Employer offers competitive medical, vision, and dental insurance.* Employer offers relocation pay for this position. * 401K will be applied to employees beginning in mid to late 2023.* Employer requires a pre-employment drug screen.
