Job Title: Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer (CMM Programmer) Job Location: Buford, Georgia Salary: $65000.00 - $65000.00 Salary Frequency: Yearly Description: Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) unit to perform dimensional inspection of various steel and plastic formed products, fixtures, and gages in a production environment. * Review complete blueprints of gages in preparation for writing inspection programs and associated procedures. • Work with Quality Engineers and Product Engineers in the development of inspection plans for gathering and reporting of information. • Responsible for day to day problem resolution as it relates to production CMM operations. • SPC Management & Reporting • Management & Control of Gauge Calibration, & Verification (GR&R) Problem solving skills with (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa Diagrams) are preferred. College or Technical degree is preferred. With years of experience, Vocational School is acceptable. Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors. Physical and environmental requirements/conditions: Move – 25 lbs (30% of time); stationary positions; uncontrolled and controlled temperatures; exposure to noise, dust, oil/solvent fumes; may be required to move, place, detect or position objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; traverse; position self, communicate; identify close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
