We welcome and encourage your comments and feedback on Georgia's WIA plan, including waiver requests, at any time. To use the email form, select "Workforce Investment Act" in the "Message To" box, and enter your comments or questions in the "Comments" box.

Georgia Unified Workforce Investment Act Plan

The existing (PY2009 – PY2010) Georgia Unified Workforce Investment Act Plan describes services to be provided by Georgia's statewide workforce system to help individuals and businesses with their training and employment-related needs. Georgia has received federal approval to extend the State Plan through Program Year 2011. Public comment and feedback is welcome and may be provided at any time.

Waivers

Georgia currently has six waivers in place for the WIA program, and a seventh waiver has been proposed for federal approval. Waiver requests and their status are listed in chronological order beginning with the most current request. Public comment and feedback is welcome and may be provided at any time.
