Job Title: National Sales Manager Job Location: Adairsville, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: To provide supervision and direction to RSMs (Regional Sales Managers), inside sales group and product marketing group personnel and assist executive management in maximizing the efforts of the dealer network and Company staff to achieve Corporate objectives for the sale, service and support of Company Agriculture, while promoting the profitable growth of Company's equipment business in Company's region of operation.JOB FUNCTIONS:* Travel with RSMs to assist in growth of Company Equipment business and monitor their sales activities & results versus sales budgets.* Supervise and advise RSMs in the dealer selection process; including the analysis of open market areas as well as proposed new dealer prospects, their financial abilities, facilities and potential to become a successful Company dealer.* Generate and communicate product sales goals to each RSM, and review with each their actual performance with respect to Company established budgets, etc.* Monitor RSM's weekly and monthly reports to insure efficient utilization of available resources and affect change as necessary.* Recruit and train RSMs for vacant or newly created Company equipment sales regions.* Assist RSMs with dealer product & sales training as required.* Facilitate communications between RSMs, dealers and executive management.* Monitor and insure RSMs complete, update and utilize business planning with their new & key dealers.* Monitor, and improve where necessary, the sales tools and techniques utilized by RSMs when working with their dealers and dealer prospects.* Provide executive management with information and reports on sales performance, market conditions, competitive position, etc. as requested.* In the event of dealer terminations, coordinate the dealer termination process and insure that Company is secured with respect to their assets and receivables.* In the event of open regions (RSM vacancies), maintain dealer focus and communications, acting as a temporary RSM, until such time as any RSM vacancy has been filled.* Where applicable, coordinate sales activities/efforts and communications with independent sales agents representing Company Agriculture.* Manage the product marketing and inside sales groups and provide guidance to these groups to assist Sales in achieving Company Agriculture goals.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES* Supervise Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), inside sales (if applicable).JOB QUALIFICATIONS:* College degree with technical or business major plus 5 years field sales experience, or equivalent work experience in the equipment industry.* Excellent oral and written communication skills.* This position is full time and based in Adairsville, GA.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES* Must be a self-starter with great initiative.* Requires strong business analysis skills, limited negotiating and selling skills, detailed oriented, service minded. * Good communication and organizational skills. * Good work ethic. * Requires proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word and ability to learn relevant business systems tools.* Internal / External Cooperation* Will interact and cooperate with all employees at all levels of the organization.* Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.* Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.* Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.* Up to 25% travel.* Will work 8+ hours per day in a plant/office setting and be able to navigate all areas of the building and facility as needed.
