Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: Develop and maintain attachment catalog for CE product lines. Conduct engineering evaluations/tests on attachments for compact excavators, skid steer loaders, compact tracked loaders, and wheel loaders to obtain factory approval for equipment applications. Collaborate with customers, Sales, and dealers to capture all required VOC, market trends, and competitive intelligence and report to factory / product development group. Make recommendations in applications to ensure proper performance. Aid in the development of attachments and systems to fulfill the needs of customers. Work under the Product Marketing Manager supervision. JOB FUNCTIONS: * Create attachments specs and perform installation reviews for Company and Dealer customer base. * Perform tasks in a timely manner with attention to meet Company CE goals. * Ensure that Company quality standards for attachments are adhered to for each application. * Attachments must be approved by factory prior to release to dealer network and customers. * Perform calculations and engineering analysis of test data. * Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationship for attachments. * Respond to dealer / end user questions for new and existing applications. * Assist Sales in the proper selection of attachments and options for new applications. * Respond to incoming questions via phone and email. * Understand the processes within various Company departments such as Parts, Service, Warranty, etc. Assist with problems as they arise with our dealers and customers (end users). * Exhibit high competence in Company CE product line knowledge. * Exhibit an engineering curiosity about various customers' applications and specific engineering challenges. * Participate in trade shows relevant to customer base. JOB REQUIREMENTS * BS in Engineering or Technology, BSME preferred. * 5 years or more Attachment experience, Compact Equipment preferred. * Proficient with Microsoft Office, * Ability to travel domestic and international. * Perform engineering calculations and conversions, * Equipment operation experience preferred, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Knowledge of data acquisition and testing methods. * Will work 8+ hours per day in a plant/office setting. * Requires candidate to navigate all areas of the building and facility as needed. * Required to sit, stand, walk, reach and operate equipment. * May occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds in an office, customer or similar setting and be aware of surroundings. * Appropriately interact with others in stressful and busy situations. * Requires candidate to travel domestic and international. * This position is full time and based in Adairsville, GA. #LI-MB
