Description:
Applies quality concepts to identify opportunities for eliminating process deficiencies to improve quality, reduce costs and to optimize product performance. Develops and ensures the site's Quality Management System (QMS) is in compliance with national standards (AS 9100 Rev D, ISO9001:2015) and familiar with ISO 13485:2016 requirements. Maintain interaction between all HPC operations to keep the QMS transparent to HPC Quality directives. Exhibits and supports the development of a culture that identifies Safety, Quality, Productivity, and On Time Delivery as top goals.* Provides technical and organizational support for the AS 9100 Rev D / ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001 systems. * Leads cross functional teams to plan and implement problem solving activities.* Manages the control of internal and external corrective and preventative actions. Interacts with manufacturing and engineering in identification and resolution of product quality problems.* Analyzes production and quality trend rates to identify and solve problems. * Promotes the implementation of the HPC QMS, ensuring the system is properly documented and associates adequately trained.* Evaluates the QMS elements through internal audits. If areas of deficiencies are found he/she will interpret the standard to the associates responsible for the area and recommend changes to correct the deficiencies.* Serves as quality management representative updating and maintaining QMS documentation and conducting site quality management reviews as scheduled during the year.* Maintains specifications in the BPCS systems for QMS.* Serves as back up in the creation and revisions of process travelers.* Ensures that test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated and ensures gage management system is maintained. Interacts with calibration vendors.* Writes and communicates technical reports to management.* Interprets and applies commercial and international standards as they apply to wire and medical products and materials.* Supports continuous improvement programs to meet company's objectives.* Assist with the research and analysis of ROHS and REACH as well as process improvement with economic implications. * Skill in motivating, communicating with and instructing others, using technical and non-technical language to explain complex subjects and processes. * Ability to analyze information of considerable difficulty and drawing valid conclusions.Work is performed primarily in an office setting and, occasionally, in a plant environment. Frequent need to remain in a stationary position, to move about work area, position self in various positions, communicate with staff, observe & recognize various situations. May occasionally be required to move light to moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. May be required to operate a Company vehicle on Company business. Required to wear personal protective equipment as required to perform his/her duties: hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety foot wear and other PPE as determined to protect the individual. Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience: 24 Months
