Job Title: Maintenance Technician (A) Job Location: Statesboro, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *Perform maintenance work in area of expertise such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fabrication, and machining. *Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs to production equipment, systems, and facility. *Works closely with engineers and outside vendors to resolve complex process or equipment issues in a cost effective and timely manner. *Trains employees; assigns and directs work; provides feedback to supervisor regarding employee work performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems. *Performs other duties as assigned. JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: *Advanced troubleshooting skills. *3 years technical experience using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge. *Qualified candidate will demonstrate leadership skills. *Qualified candidate will have good teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills. *Qualified candidate will have knowledge of tooling practices and applications. *Qualified candidate will be able to obtain and maintain forklift driving skills and certification. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: *High school diploma or GED required. A technical degree in a related/similar field may be considered in lieu of experience. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: *May be required to maneuver products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights (Frequently 5 – 25 pounds), (Occasionally 25 –75 pounds), (Rarely > 75 pounds). *Qualified candidate will perform occasional to frequent movements over a full work shift. *Qualified candidate will remain stationary or upright constantly over a full work shift. *Qualified candidate will use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift. *Qualified candidate will operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift. *Exposure to noise levels for which protection is required to be worn over a full work shift. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: *Completion of Key Train testing upon bidding. Positions are available on the 2nd shift.
