Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (B) Job Location: Statesboro, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Maintains structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, and hydraulics systems for a variety of equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs to production equipment, systems, and facility. Performs various machining or bench operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding. Instructs, monitors, and communicates requirements for safety, quality, and production. Maintains statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis in order to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specification. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Intermediate troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge. 1.5 years of technical experience. Leadership skills. Basic computer skills. Able to obtain and maintain forklift driving skills and certification. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: May be required to maneuver products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights (Frequently 5 – 25 pounds), (Occasionally 25 –75 pounds), (Rarely > 75 pounds). Ability to perform occasional to frequent movements over a full work shift. Ability to remain stationary or upright constantly over a full work shift. Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift. Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift. Exposure to noise levels for which protection is required to be worn over a full work shift. There are 8 positions available on the 2nd shift and 3 positions available on the 3rd shift (each shift is a 12 hour shift) . OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of all required technician training courses. Completion of Key Train testing upon bidding. Team Facilitator & Area Manager Recommendation. No performance based written warnings or attendance warnings other than first written warning.
