Job Title: Production Control Clerk Job Location: Buford, Georgia Salary: $15.00 - $15.00 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: Essential Functions: * Responsibility of maintaining the flow of work orders to and from the manufacturing floor according to the production schedule Primary Responsibilities: * Maintain work order files of both open and closed documents. * Distribute work orders to workstations on production floor. * Enter production confirmation in SAP computer system. * Reconcile and close production work orders when complete. * Monitor and reconcile discrepancy report (COGI). * Record and reconcile scrap from time sheets or tally sheets. * Notify Purchasing if alternate material is used on bill of materials manually. * Reconcile unscheduled changeovers due to discrepancy in intermediate (WIP) inventory. * Notify production planners and schedulers if work orders were not completed. * Maintain strong working relationship with team members from all departments. * Maintain a neat and orderly workspace. * Other duties as assigned by management to achieve required results in department. * Analytical thinking skills to research and resolve discrepancies. * Detail oriented and ability to multi-task. * Flexibility to change work schedule based on company needs. Job Requirements: * Excellent record keeping and organizational skills * Must be able to work 12-hour continental shift (days or evenings) Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical Demands: While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to remain stationary, traverse, operate machine to detect objects, tools, or controls; move product or materials; reposition self throughout shift; communicate. The employee must move up to 30 pounds (or 75 with assistance). **This position offers a $1.00 shift differential.** SAP experience is preferred. Forklift experience is a plus.
