Description:

Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw material, intermediate WIP material, finished products, scrap and dunnage throughout the facility using a forklift truck and barcode scanners to support production requirements. * Conduct and complete daily forklift inspection sheets at start of shift. Report any damage or issues to your team lead. * Transport material, dunnage, and scrap between production work centers and warehouses in a safe and efficient manner. * Utilize SAP/RF scanners to pull, put away, reentry, and palletize material to ensure inventory accuracy. Report any discrepancies to your team lead and/or supervisor. * Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, ISO, and procedures. * Weight count raw material coils to process return to stores reentry * Notify team lead of any issues scanning TO tickets for your shift. * Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, ISO Initiatives, and procedures. * Complete forklift inspection sheets at beginning of shift * Review forklift inspection sheets for your staff at the start of shift for completeness; report any issues to immediate supervisor and appropriate Maintenance personnel. * Work with Production team leads and supervisors to resolve issues. * Monitor and maintain coil “blue zone” for return to stores. * Monitor and maintain Intermediate Return to stores area * Follow up on any delays or Inventory issues pulling or providing material to production stations using blue light or manual back up system. * Maintain Inventory accuracy & proper identification with Inventory Management software (“labeling”, etc.) * Ensure all product is put away and located in the SAP system using barcode scanners or desktop function. * Assist with chemical containers for disposal readiness if needed. * Back up Drop Zone or unloading trucks as needed * Monitor scrap areas, back lot, cardboard baler, and dunnage area for neatness. * Maintain 6S housekeeping in storage area & offices * Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Working Conditions: Physical Requirements * Position product and material up to 30 Lbs alone or 50 Lbs with assistance. * Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time. * Affix labels and place product and materials in proper locations in a repeated motion. Environmental Conditions * Uncontrolled temperatures: (heat/cold) production area . * Exposure to Noise, Dust, Oil/Solvent Fumes. Other * Specific abilities required: Identify product and materials close up, at a distance, as well as colors. Determine depth and ability to adjust focus. * Basic knowledge of SAP preferred. ***This position offers a $1.00 shift differential.
