Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (A) - Vanguard Assembly Job Location: Statesboro, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *Perform maintenance work relating primarily to production equipment, including electrical, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, etc. *Proficient understanding of engines and their operations, which may include various products and air-cooled gasoline engines; Complete complex equipment component re-builds, where applicable. *Work requires an advanced level of root-cause analysis. *Perform any and all repairs to a variety of production equipment requiring the use of programmable logic controllers (PLC) in the troubleshooting process. *Perform other duties as assigned. JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: *Advanced troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge. *1 year of experience with engines and their operations. *3 years of technical experience required. *Leadership and basic computer skills required. *Must obtain and maintain forklift driving skills and certification. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: *Completion of Key Train testing upon bidding. *Successful completion of all required technician training courses. *Must achieve/maintain Master Service Technician (MST) (Post Hire). *Team Facilitator & Area Manager Recommendation. *No performance based written warnings or attendance warnings other than first written warning. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS *High school diploma or GED. *A technical degree in a similar or related field will be considered in lieu of experience.
