Position Summary: The Technical Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing technical and warranty support to OEM's, Distributors, engine centers, dealers, and end users for any division as appointed by the Service Manager or Technical Service Supervisors while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support OEM's, engine centers, dealers, and end users on technical and warranty issues with Company's products.* Provided any needed technical support to customers in a timely manner.* Maintain Customer Relations Management databases with all activities and keep status updated. Follow up on and close open issues in a timely manner.* Manage product campaigns and product improvement plans and activities.* Answer written correspondence from dealers, engine centers and customers.* Investigate reported quality issues and report necessary information to the responsible regional headquarters and suppliers for corrective action plans.* Oversee warranty authorizations and approvals insuring claims are processed within policy guidelines.* Travel to customers to provide support on warranty and customer issues as needed.* Support Sales and Marketing by attending Company's product shows and other dealer events as needed.* Support Regional Sales Managers and Field Service Managers in any technical support or technical knowledge needed to improve customer service and sales initiatives.* Coordinate any repairs with the service shop as needed.* Support sales and production departments with technical assistance on an as needed basis.* Continuously improve customer service and support activities within the Customer Support Division.JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Technical degree in diesel technology, construction equipment, transmission diagnostics and repair or equivalent work experience.* Minimum two (2) years of experience in diesel applications including engines, construction equipment, agricultural or marine (diesel engines, Marine diesel engine design, repair, maintenance, processes, electronic and hydraulic controls).* Knowledge of Company's products preferred.* Maintain valid driver's license and passport with travel up to 30%.* This position is full time and based in Adairsville GA.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* Requires candidate to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.* Requires candidate to be computer literate and experienced with Microsoft office products and business systems.* Required to sit, stand, walk, reach and operate equipment as required.* Appropriately interact with others in stressful and busy situations.* This position is full time and located in Acworth, GA.Successful candidates may expect an excellent total compensation package including competitive salary, health care insurance (including dental and vision), 401(k) retirement plan with match, and many other excellent employee benefits.When submitting a Résumé for this position, I understand that this information may be used to create a registration with the Georgia Department of Labor on Employ Georgia.
