Description:
• Develop and administer company environmental health and safety training programs such as but not limited to: 6S, monthly safety audits, and monthly safety trainings • Perform safety, environmental, and occupational health inspections for compliance with established policies to identify potential new hazards. • Recommend processes and procedures that will reduce employees' exposure to work hazards. • Work with the Management and Maintenance teams to inspect the facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards. • Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in environmental health safety regulations, laws and reporting requirements. • Coordinate and administer environmental health and safety training initiatives for the company to ensure compliance with OSHA regulatory and all other regulatory requirements. • Create and modify Standard Operating Procedures to align with the applicable EHS laws and regulations • Collaborate with departmental personnel to understand procedures, gather information, analyze procedures, address issues, resolve problems and implement change • Administer mandatory safety trainings to ensure all newly hired employees receive the appropriate training and safety equipment. • Ensure employees operate in a safe, orderly, and clean environment. • Review injury/illness and other incident investigation reports and follow up as necessary. • Assist with the enforcement of OSHA regulations and company policies. • Submit proper OSHA documentation. • Assure all internal and external EHS audits are above minimal standings with passing scores. • Other tasks and projects as assigned by Management. Minimum Qualifications: • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. • Minimum of 3 years of environmental, health and safety experience. • Intermediate in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Ability to work and be flexible and available for on call hours before and/or after normal business hours as needed. • Class 4 laser experience is a plus. • Willingness and ability to travel to Germany for training When submitting a résumé for this position, I understand that this information may be used to create a registration with the Georgia Department of Labor on Employ Georgia. #CBRC

Requirements:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience: 36 Months
