Job Title: Process Engineer Job Location: Acworth, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: The Process Engineer role will provide front line support, process oversight, and process development for production in the factory. The employee shall be responsible for providing support to production by assisting with, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, modifying and maintaining all equipment and tools related to production. The employee will also work to test new manufacturing processes and improve existing processes. All activities should emphasize on company’s initiatives for safety, quality and productivity. Additional responsibilities include: Essential duties and responsibilities: • Become a subject matter expert on key technologies, processes and materials. • Provide front line support, process oversight, and process development for production. • Manage technical projects such as automation development, or new product launch. • Support production by troubleshooting equipment and quality issues. • Ensure equipment and machines meet all mechanical designs and customer requirements. • Setup new equipment and reorganize existing equipment to facilitate process improvements. • Create and track process metrics related to process improvements. • Assist with production of new product samples and new material testing. • Identify purchase items and prepare information to order machines, tools and materials. • Complete other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications: • 2 year technical degree or 7+ years’ experience in mechatronics, electronics, mechanics or a related field of study. • 4 year degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering is preferred. • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings. • CAD and basic machine design skills. • Prior experience with Robotics and Automation Equipment is a plus. • Willingness and ability to travel to Germany for training. • Experience with robotics, CNC equipment, and material handling equipment is a plus.
