Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Location: Homer, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: This position will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks for Plant operations. Responsibilities:* Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance on assigned equipment and plant operating systems.* Complete necessary documentation.* Changeover equipment in support of the plant production schedule and/or as requested by Production Shift Supervisor.* Trouble shoots and repair equipment and systems to minimize plant downtime. Notify Supervisor when parts are pulled from stock to ensure adequate inventory of key parts and supplies are maintained.* Complete Projects as assigned and prioritized by the Maintenance Manager.* Document all Shift activities in Daily Maintenance Log.* Continually inspect and monitor plant equipment and systems during scheduled shift. A complete plant walk-through is conducted at least once during each assigned shift.* Observe and follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) rules and plant safety requirements.Qualifications:* High school diploma/GED; Technical school diploma preferred* Minimum 3 years Food Processing and/or Industrial Plant Maintenance with working knowledge of Welding, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Functions, and Basic Electrical in order to repair, rebuild, replace parts, and trouble shoot when failures occur.* Position requires candidate to possess manual dexterity and the ability to use tools proficiently.* Position requires candidate to possess set of hand tools applicable to food processing equipment,When submitting a Résumé for this position, I understand that this information may be used to create a registration with the Georgia Department of Labor on Employ Georgia. #CBMB Requirements: Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience: 36 Months Special Requirements: This job does not have any special requirements.
