Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (A) Assembly Job Location: Statesboro, Georgia Salary: $22.75 - $24.75 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *Perform maintenance work in area of expertise such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and fabrication. *Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs to production equipment, systems, and facility. *Install, tear down, and/or relocate equipment. *Performs various duties relating to automation and robotics. *Instructs, monitors, and communicates requirements for safety, quality, and production. *Maintains statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis in order to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specification. *Perform other duties as assigned. JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: *Qualified candidate will have advances troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge. *3 years of technical experience required. *Qualified candidate will have leadership skills and ability to work in a fast pace environment, making quick decision to maintain production level requirements. *Qualified candidate will have basic computer skills. *Qualified candidate will obtain and maintain forklift driving skills and certification. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: *High school diploma or GED required. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: *May be required to maneuver products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights (Frequently 5 – 25 pounds), (Occasionally 25 –75 pounds), (Rarely > 75 pounds). *Ability to perform occasional to frequent movements over a full work shift. *Ability to remain stationary or upright constantly over a full work shift. *Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift. *Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift. *Exposure to noise levels for which protection is required to be worn over a full work shift. *There are 8 positions available on the 2nd shift and 3 positions available on the 3rd shift (each shift is a 12 hour shift) . OTHER REQUIREMENTS: •Completion of Key Train testing upon bidding.
