Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Location: Trenton, Georgia Salary: $19.00 - $19.00 Salary Frequency: Hourly Description: Repair & maintain machinery & mechanical equipment ie... engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, & production machines & equipment by performing duties below: Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:* Observe mechanical devices in operation & identify sounds to locate causes of trouble* Dismantle devices to gain access to & remove defective parts* Examine form & texture of parts to detect imperfections* Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements* Adjust functional parts of devices & control instruments* Repair or replace defective parts* Install special functional & structural parts in devices* Lubricate & clean parts* Start devices to test performance* Set up & operate lathe, drill press, grinder, & other metalworking tools to make & repair parts* Initiate purchase order for parts & machines* Repair electrical equipment* Comply w/TS16949 requirements defined by Company Policies & Procedures (job specific)* Other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: * This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
