Job Title: Quality Operator Inspector (IQC, PQC, OQC) Job Location: Commerce, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Job Purpose: Quality (IQC, PQC, OQC) operator works in routine, following standard procedures under supervision. He/she uses analysis instrument for quality inspection in each production processes. Responsibilities may include operating computer-controlled equipment, performing sample tasting, and reporting test results. Sometimes, it is required to engage in troubleshooting and basic equipment maintenance. Additionally, responsibilities include engaging in troubleshooting and basic equipment maintenance throughout the safety tests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operation: *Conduct additional inspection (checking electrical properties and dispersion) when defects were discovered after monitoring of inspection result. *Regular review & inspection: semi-finished product inspection. *Visual inspection: non-conformance inspection, disassembly, feedback, etc. *Regular review & inspection: semi-finished product inspection. *Electrical properties inspection: ACIR (resistance, insulation resistance, capacity of charge/discharge, OCV) dimension. *Accepted semi-finished product inspection: standard conformity assessment. *Create inspection standard document according to the product specification. *Monitor and inspect the quality of selected semi-finished and finished products. *Insert test results on WMS (Warehouse Management System)/MES. *When non-conforming product is discovered, conduct Non-Conformity Handling Procedure. *based on the control plan. Instrument Management: *Monitor the maintenance and operation status of measuring instrument. *Report incidents or malfunctions of instrument and inquire maintenance according to the trouble correspondence manual. *Calibration of instrument through outside vendors’ support. *In case of model change, adjust instrument conditions and check the result meets requirements. Chemical Handling: *Manage chemical storage area and ensure that incompatible chemicals are separated. *Will learn chemical handling, spill prevention, waste handling, and cleanup procedures for hazardous chemicals. *Other tasks as assigned. Requirements: *High School Diploma or GED required. *Must be at least 18 years of age. *Full Professional Proficiency in English required. *Basic computer skills required. * Experience in raw material supplies is preferred (active material) *Qualified candidate must use measurement devices (ruler, gauge, caliper). *Qualified candidate must communicate with co-workers both verbally and in writing. Demands & Environments: Physical & Mental Demands: *Must wear PPE including safety shoes, clean suit, mask or respirator (dust mask, gas mask, and airline mask or respirator), safety glasses/safety goggles, latex gloves, polyurethane protective gloves for cutting, or additional PPE as required. Can lift maximum 50 pound weight. Work Environment: *Mostly in room-temperature, sometimes in dry room (in case of moisture measuring). *Some handling of chemicals required. ***Interviews & pre-hire testing for selected candidates will be conducted weekly until all positions are filled. Pre-hire testing will take approximately 2 hours. Company has various tentative start dates between now & December.
