Region 11 - Southeast Counties: Atkinson, Bacon, Ben Hill, Berrien, Brantley, Brooks, Charlton, Clinch, Coffee, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Pierce, Tift, Turner, & Ware. Essential Function and Responsibilities: *Build Relationships between GDOL and the GA Business Community. *Learn and demonstrate detailed knowledge in all GDOL areas in order to give effective presentations and facilitate value-added workshops. *Ensure presentations address the requests and are accurate and substantive. *Seeks opportunities for Business Development. *Establishes and maintains working relationships with area business community, internal and external agency customers, and other related contacts. *Assist implementation of Regional Promotional Plan. *Assist in developing strategies for identifying potential customers and determining the most appropriate methods for contacting and influencing the target markets. *Develop and implement promotional strategies to achieve the goals for designated regions, using tools and resources available. ***Non-traditional hours are common and includes extensive travel within the assigned region/territory. Non-traditional hours and travel may include weekends and overnights when assigned to a special project/team. Qualifications: *Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND One year of related experience OR High school diploma or GED AND Three years of related experience. *Current/valid drivers license. Preferred Qualifications: *Completion of an undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations. *Experience in marketing, communication and cold-calling. *Knowledge of GDOL Employment Services, Unemployment Insurance, and Labor Market Information *Demonstrated experience organizing, presenting, and disseminating client requested information or data. *Experience or training in all Microsoft applications. *Experience presenting information, data to individuals and groups. ***Advertised Salary: $42,496.00/Year.
