SUMMARY The IT Engineer – Infrastructure is responsible for administration, maintenance, and monitoring for various hardware, operating systems, and infrastructures including server, storages, network, and database. Also, the person will provide technical assistance and all supports related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This includes, but is not limited to, providing help desk support, setup, installation and equipment and software upgrade. The person must attend all troubleshooting from hardware, software, and network in a timely and efficient manner and also lead and manage the helpdesk. RESPONSIBILITIES * Deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IT assets including desktop computer systems and peripherals, software applications, laptops, printers, tablets, smartphones, and etc. * Provide help desk support to all MS Windows users related to hardware, software, and network connectivity issues; diagnose, test, and repair hardware and software issues. * Run diagnosis on infrastructures (servers, network, and database) to identify troubles, and suggest and execute solutions. * Monitor and execute solutions for the communication issues between MES and Equipment. * Receive and document all user support requests in the designated help desk work order system; maintain communication with end-users and supervisor regarding work order activity; update/close work orders in a timely manner. * Escalate technical support issues to appropriate technical staffs as needed. * Provide IT resource support and training for the employees. * Contribute to the maintenance of the IT assets, database, and the help desk work order system. * Supervise with wired and wireless network construction. * Manage IT server rooms and devices. * Manage IT hardware devices such as computers, monitors, scanners, printers and etc. * Manage OA devices such as smartphones, telephones, conference call devices, composite instruments, projectors, and etc. * Assign and manage employees’ phone numbers and telephone equipment. * Operating systems: management for performance, capacity, fault, changes, configurations, and backup. * Manage servers and network security: Establish and maintain security policy. * Install database, fault management, and patching. * Establish IT infrastructure strategy. * Cooperate with counterparts, and manage oversea and domestic vendors. * Prepare and maintain IT Infrastructure documentation, statistics, and reports. * Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company. * Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management. * Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION * Experience with MS SQL(2014/2016) management. * Experience with network and security(FW/IPS/DDos/VPN) management. * Experience with DBMS and middleware development and management. * Experience with an enterprise desktop management system (SCCM or JAMF Casper Suite) and/or experience supporting enterprise systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Cisco telephony, and VMware. * Experience with hardware troubleshooting; simple repairs; web/desktop publishing; smartphones; network printing; viruses/spyware; wireless; IP; and telephony systems, all beneficial. * Certifications in MCSE, CCNP, CCIE, database, and security. * Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Bilingual in English and Korean. * Acumen for details #CBRH Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
