SUMMARY The Cost Analyst is responsible for making estimation and analysis of production costs by working closely with other teams. This position will also be assisting in the preparation and review of financial data, and provide manufacturing and cost accounting reporting for management review and decision-making. RESPONSIBILITIES * Make annual estimation of detail production costs in detail for each product that reflect plans for production, investment, purchasing and any other operations in the plant properly with logical formula by every month for next year. * Analyze the difference between actual production costs and estimated costs in detail, and keep the estimation updated periodically and when issues arise. * Make estimation or simulation of production costs due to changes in operation, purchasing and/or investment for management's decision-making. * Identify possible opportunities for improving production costs, and follow-up/expedite on what's already identified and/or executed. * Cooperate closely with other teams in the plant and the global organizations, and be aware of their main activities, status and plans associated with production costs. * Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company. * Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management. * Ability to work with multiple department including but not limited to Accounting, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Equipment, Process control, R&D, QA/QC, and IT. * Ability to pay close attention to details while maintaining a big picture perspective. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION * Experience in solar panels industry.
