Job Title: Production Equipment Maintenance Manager (Welding) Job Location: Savannah, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: * Coordinates, monitors, and performs specialized technical processes and related functions directly related to welding activities in the maintenance department in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives. General Managements: * In charge of plant wise maintenance index. (Downtime, Manpower, Preventive maintenance, Maintenance system, Equipment improvements, Safety/Environmental, Skill level etc.). * Prepare, execute, evaluate & improve the annual operation plan. * Oversee activities to encourage good teamwork. (Interview, Meeting, Events, Collaboration with expatriates). * Manage the production and downtime condition of the welding plant. * Flexible work schedule to take care any urgent situations (Night, Weekends, Holidays). * SAP & PM system should be maintained daily based on Welding plant’s PM activities. * Strong electrical and system engineering skills and knowledge and general mechanical understanding. * Maintaining smooth relationships with external departments through communication and cooperation. Budget & Spare Parts Management: * Manage and monitor the purchasing, distribution, and inventory control of maintenance material. (Include Tools, Subsidiary materials etc.). * Plant wise control the maintenance budget of the year. (Monthly planning and analysis, Secure budget). Plant Member Management: * Supervise and control conflicts in the organization and take care the individual distress from the work. (Organization control, Recruitment, Disciplinary measure, appraisal etc.). * Clearly communicated to members about direction, company business decision and official information. * Evaluate and mentor plant members to encourage continuous improvement. Qualifications and Preferences: * 10 years of maintenance experience in the field of automated plants. * Experience in managing more than 30 team members. * High school diploma required. * Valid drivers' license required. Preferred: * Minimum 5 years maintenance experience. * Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred. * Maintenance experience in major automotive industry in U.S. * Current mechanical or electrical certifications. * AB PLC program and control circuit experience. * Performed large number of equipment installations including design study, paperwork, inspection and testing new/modified equipment and processes. * Ability to understand drawing and specifications of electrical, mechanical systems. Competency Based: The Maintenance MGR of the welding plant will manage all maintenance index, oversee the training, evaluation of maintenance team members. Also, understand process of the welding plant. * Working With a Team, planning and organizing, problem solving and communication. * Strategic thinking and mindset, willingness for transformational changes and flexibility. Travel Requirement and Additional information: * Position may require occasional travel (Domestic/International travel).
