Job Title: Smart Factory & Software Manager Job Location: Savannah, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Computer Programmer - * Reviewing operating systems and software frequently and making any adjustments necessary to keep them running well.* Writing code and implementing computer programs on multiple systems in the business.* Building and using computer-assisted software engineering tools to automate some coding.* Performing all requirements needed for the implementation of automated computer systems from start to finish.* Using code libraries to simplify the writing of code.* Collaborating with software developers in the creation of programs for their organization.Smart Factory Programmer -* Applies advanced knowledge and experience to promote the expansion of robotics where sufficient benefit exists.* Mentor other robotics trained technical staff to support production.* Work with engineering group in identification of future automation assignments and streamlining of current processes.* Programming of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) in our plants, typically to modify or adjust new process capability or to build technology demonstrators. * Programming of MES in our plants, typically to modify or adjust new process capability or to build technology demonstrators. * Ability to load PLC programs, set frequency drives. * Responsible for maintenance of the robot systems * Designs programs and tests and implements systems for all robotic or vision machines. * Serves as project lead for new robotic installations. * Assists supervisors in monitoring quality of robot. * Manage operators to properly run private 5G and Wi-Fi 6.Others -* Licensing or Certifications for Robot Programmer.* Education for Robot Programmer Support related activities, events, and tasks.Qualifications & Preferences: Minimum:* Bachelor's degree (all majors).* 10+ years of job-related experience. * Education for Robot Programmer such as Bachelor's and associate degree in engineering, Technical, Associates, Design, Welding, Automotive, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering.Preferred:* Job related experience in Automotive Industry.* Licensing or Certifications for Robot Programmer.Competency Based: * Working With a Team.* Planning and Organizing.* Problem Solving.* Communication.* Strategic thinking and mindset.* Willingness for transformational changes.* Flexibility.Travel Requirement: * Domestic / International travel required.Compensation & Benefit:* Employer offers opportunities for growth, work flexibility, competitive pay, and benefits.* Benefits includes competitive Medical / Vision / Dental insurance, 15 paid holidays, paid time off, and competitive 401k plan.Equal opportunity employer.
