Job Title: Quality Control Paint Associate Job Location: Savannah, Georgia Salary: Salary to be discussed Description: Position Summary:Study and understand automotive paint process to enhance paint quality while meeting internal and external customer requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Inspect incoming raw material properties and perform online appearance checks.* Investigate and analyze defective products and develop effective countermeasures.* Establish short-term/long-term counter measures to ensure smooth production.* Collaborate with Engineering and Production on quality improvements during current production and during new project development stage.* Enhance suppliers quality level by conducting Supplier Process Audit (SPA) and reviewing their products, tools, and systems periodically.* Participate/lead BIP audit and Color Harmony sharing inspection results with suppliers, engineering and production to request and discuss improvement plan.* Manage assigned products to meet internal/external customer requirements.* Improve efficiency of quality control management system by learning and applying new technology, knowledge, and equipment.* Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and systems in accordance to specification and applicable legal requirements.* Meet all other requirements as assigned.Qualifications & PreferencesRequired:* Bachelor's degree.* Valid Driver's License.Required Competencies:* Concern for Quality - Demonstrate effort to minimize job performance errors; maintain optimal quality through quick revision and immediate corrections.* Prompt Judgement and Action - Use prompt judgements and actions based on professionalism and experiences to find concrete and clear solution.* Complex Problem Solving - Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement.* Monitoring & Feedback - Efficiently execute tasks and maintain quality by continuously monitoring processes and parts; provide immediate feedback with alternative options as necessary.Preferred:* Chemical Engineering major preferred.* Advanced degree in a related field preferred.Travel Requirement:* Domestic / International travel required.Working Hours (Shift) Requirement:* Employment opportunities will be completed on multiple phases.
