NOTICE OF AMENDMENTS TO EMPLOYMENT SECURITY LAW RULES
July 19, 2013
TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS:
In compliance with O.C.G.A. § 50-13-4 and pursuant to the authority contained in O.C.G.A. § 34-8-70, the Georgia Department of Labor gives notice that it proposes to Repeal and Replace Rule 300-2-4-.08 Overpayments. Amended. and Rule 300-2-3-.05 Charges To Experience Rating Account. Amended; and to amend Rule 300-2-9-.07 Educational Service Workers. Amended.
The proposed Rules 300-2-4-.08 and 300-2-3-.05 are being repealed and replaced under the authority of O.C.G.A. §§ 34-8-70, 34-8-92, 34-8-93, 34-8-157, 34-8-190, 34-8-254 and 34-8-255. Rule 300-2-9-.07 is being amended under the authority of O.C.G.A. §§ 34-8-70, 34-8-93, 34-8-190 and 34-8-196.
To provide the public an opportunity to comment upon and provide input into the formulations of the amendments, a public hearing will be held at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013, in Rooms 101 A and 101 B of the Department's headquarter at the below address.
The Department must receive all comments regarding the amendments of the above referenced rules from interested persons and parties no later than the closing of the hearing on Friday, August 23, 2013. Oral statements presented at the hearing must be concise to permit all interested persons an opportunity to be heard.
